Since the early 1800’s, coal has fueled the Appalachian economy. Jenkins, Kentucky was established as a coal mining hub in 1912 and later deemed, “The City Built on Coal” because of its significant role in the coal business of Eastern Kentucky Appalachia. SmileFaith Foundation has been providing charitable dental care and inspiration to the folks of Appalachia for many years and is happy to offer a rich, fullbodied Appalachian roasted coffee, pastries and more at Coal City Coffee located next to the Jenkins Library. SmileFaith, Inc. has been providing “HOPE WITH EVERY SMILE” since its beginning in 2009. As a 501c3 nonprofit, SmileFaith brings charitable dental care and life-changing resources and events to under-served Veterans, disadvantaged residents of the Appalachian Mountains, and others in need through several unique programs. SmileFaith’s professional network also affords dental practitioners with unique opportunities for community service, advanced training and business growth.

SmileFaith operates from the generous giving of our donors and volunteer staff. 100% of your coffee receipt gets donated directly to the SmileFaith Foundation to help provide smiles to financially challenged patients in the Jenkins, KY area & beyond.
